Pretty Good markups for pdf’s

I bought this program to use to make notes as I am reading the Mueller Report on my iPad. The program does exactly what it advertises it will do. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars are for some relatively minor issues. I would have rather given it 4.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. The issue is consistency between various documents that I also need to read. Selecting a pencil line weight is different depending on the document I am reading which is quite frustrating. With some documents it is very straight forward and with others it is simply nearly impossible to navigate to the line weight tool. Perhaps this can be fixed in future editions. Overall I like it a lot.

I have used pdf pro on an Ipad since its introduction. I hated to have to buy new versions for each change io IOS but didn’t want to be without it. I even have a subscription for Adobe Acrobat, but find it more annoying than pdf Pdf Pro. I think the reviewer complaining about having to scroll through entire document to find a single page must have it mixed up with Kindle which I have to use on some books. I enjoy being able to fill in pdf forms which full Acrobat does also. Mainly I use PP to read books and textbooks. I even stayed with an older version of IOSto keep from buying the new PP3 which I have now done. With the Ipad Pro I can keep a pdf book open on the side screen while working problems on a blackboard app.

Customer service is completely unresponsive, and submitting a help ticket is as good as throwing your complaint into the trash, never to be seen again.

I was looking for an app to do all my project and class readings on, as I was printing too many articles to keep track of. I had to pay for the version of this app that allowed for annotation which was about $10 for a year. With the paid version of the app I have been able to organize and annotate all my articles. I am only not giving this app a 5 for two reasons. One, the app does not tell you if an item with an identical name has already been uploaded and therefore duplicates end up added. And two, the uploading process is tedious as you have to click each article separately and there is not a choose all option. Overall the paid version of this app does most of what I need it to do as a PhD student.
