PE Tap2Pay is a companion app that works in conjunction with PayEngine system. Simply register your device through our device management API, and you're set to start accepting contactless payments on your iPhone immediately, and this payment will then sync back to your online system.
Tap to Pay on iPhone enables PayEngine customers to use a payment solution that is easy to set up and use. Merchants will be able to unlock contactless payment acceptance through a supporting PEPay app on an iPhone XS or later running iOS 17. At checkout, the merchant will simply prompt the customer to hold their iPhone or Apple Watch to pay with Apple Pay, their contactless credit or debit card, or other digital wallet near the merchant’s iPhone, and the payment will be securely completed using NFC technology.
