Great for self taught

I am a 12 year old kid, and I play guitar and trumpet and I wanted to start composing. The one problem is I am a seventh grader and they don’t teach music theory to us I band and I want to understand the structure of what I am playing in my schools jazz band. I couldn’t find anything on how to use chords and circle of fifths and music theory stuff online that I understood but since I got this app I started to understand chord progressions and how to play in different keys. I now hope to write songs and solos with my musical friends, I thank this app for existing and helping me as a young musician and helping my musical future.

Unison singing and what not

This app is very helpful and can help a lot of people struggling with whatever issue. But my main problem with this app when I’m doing the chords and melodic training and it tells me to sing or do like la or whatever. If I need it to repeat or hold down on the key it just skips and doesn’t let me play and also like it won’t even let me do it sometimes it just goes to the next thing. Like nothing in the background could trigger it with noise because nothing is happening so I don’t understand this could be an easy fix and help out me and other people with this issue because in all honesty I love this app and I need that training the most. To be able to sing on pitch and be able to know which way I’m going without it skipping on its own or not being able to fully hear it and get my ear used to the note. Thank y’all!

I like the app but wasted money on custom exercises

I like to recommend this app to my music students and recently had a student who wanted to use it to practice reading music for ukulele. So I figured I’d try out the custom exercise editor and pay the small fee. I want to set the range to be C3-C4 which is a standard range for an instrument like ukulele. The only way to get access to C3-F3 is to make the bass clef the lower clef. Which means for any instrument like guitar where you’d read everything lower but still relative to treble clef it will be confusing. So instead of being able to recommend the app and just suggesting the small charge I have to find something different for my students to use. Really unfortunate because the base app is great but this limitation seems really silly considering you can literally set the instrument to guitar.
