Phase separates a recording into vocal and instrumental stems on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, then gives you focused controls to shape the result. SEPARATE ON YOUR DEVICE Choose an audio file, or send one to Phase from a compatible share sheet, and split it with the trained model included in the app. No account, upload, or model download is required. Your original file stays unchanged. FIND THE RIGHT BALANCE Start with Instrumental, Vocals, or Mix. Adjust each stem, output level, low cut, brightness, and stereo width. Set precise start and end points, add fades, and use peak normalization to manage the output level. LISTEN, THEN EXPORT Update the preview to hear your settings. Save or share uncompressed 24-bit WAV or compact M4A audio. Your current draft is kept locally so you can return to it later. TRY EXPORTING FREE Importing, separation, editing, and previewing are free. Start a free 7-day trial through the App Store when you are ready to export. It never renews, converts, or charges automatically. After the trial, Phase Forever is a separate one-time purchase for continued exporting. There is no subscription. Your draft and editing tools remain available. The app shows the App Store's localized lifetime price, and Restore Purchases is available from Purchase & Trial. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Phase has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Import, separation, preview, and export happen on your device. You choose which file to open and where to save or share the result. Supports WAV, M4A, MP3, AIFF, and CAF files that Apple's audio frameworks can read, up to 30 minutes and 2 GB, with one or two channels. Exports use 44.1 kHz stereo audio. Protected files are not supported. Results depend on the recording. Some vocals, instruments, or effects may bleed into the other stem, and audible artifacts may remain. Phase cannot recover every original studio stem. Only process audio you have permission to use. Requires iOS or iPadOS 27 or later, or macOS 27 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
