Solid Photography Site Better When Paid Subscription
The app acts a direct feed to the sites content and it’s solid. If you’re not a fan of ads - the paid annual subscription is a small price to pay and you support independent journalism. There are some UI quirks when clicking on images but otherwise a solid app.
Outstanding Photography Content
The Phoblographer app allows ad-free access to the site’s excellent photography content. Tabbed content sections include news, education, camera, lens, and software reviews, and my favorite section Photography Culture. The best part is that the Phoblographer staff are always updating the content. There’s always something worth reading. It’s absolutely worth the price of the subscription.
Great Content
There are great articles, and the app is organized in a way that you can hone in on subjects from the drop down menu - (I’m a fan of Cheap Photo and Photography Culture sections). I bought the paid subscription and felt it was a reasonable price for the quality and quantity of articles tha align with my interests, with the tips, reviews and tutorials.
