Ratings and Reviews
Fine art frame is not an option
I tried both my iPhone and iPad and I was not able to find the fine art frame for importing images. I also used my X2D USB C cable and the app won’t discover my camera.
Non-functional with X2D
I’ve been working with Hasselblad US support for month in an attempt to get my X2D to connect with Phocus 2. The app recognizes that the camera is connected but will not allow any control of the camera or any viewing or downloading of images. All of this was possible with Phocus 1.7 and my X2D. Hasselblad admits that there is a problem and have suggested several workarounds, none of which did anything to help. This is all by WiFi because USB-C connectivity with the X2D has never been an option, although it is possible to connect via USB with other Hasselblad cameras. Hasselblad needs to do a lot better supporting their flagship products. This is embarrassing for them.
Geo Tagging + Street Photo Auto Fine Art Frame
This is a GREAT app. Considering it is only for Hasselblad not for mass market, I admit the app functionality and usability has achieved rather high level.
Request 2 new features:
1.) Geo tagging. Everybody knows why.
2.) Fine Art Frame automatically applied to exported jpg photos with Street Photography Assistant. This means all the photos downloaded to the system album will have a pre-defined fine art frame. At least let user have the option.
Now it’s very awkward that I cannot easily tell which are shot on my Hasselblad and which are on my iPhone.
And it would be super time-consuming if I have to export hundreds of photos one by one, only to add the frame.
