Tired of sitting in front of your computer for hours culling the images off your camera? How about culling your images whenever and wherever you have a few minutes or even on the couch while you spend some time relaxing?
This app gives you a photographer's workflow from offloading images from your camera's card to culling and naming the images. Also, images can be shared to photo editing apps or saved as images to get them into the Photos app. Works whether you shoot Raw (many Raw formats supported), Jpg or Raw + Jpg. Works for some other formats such as HEIF.
For Raw + Jpg, the Jpg files are culled and then with a button press the Raw files get culled to match the Jpg’s. When naming, both the Raw and Jpg files are renamed.
If you want to try the culling and verify your file formats are supported, try the “Lite” version of this app and then come back to this version for all the extras that help make it fun.
Cull Using:
- Side by side comparisons
- Pinch zoom / pan to check details
- Double tap image to match zoom/pan of other image
- View EXIF info
- View exposure info
- Share raw or jpg images
1) Video support added: culling / naming / viewing video files (not many formats tested)
- Settings toggle to include videos with images
- Settings toggle to play videos sound when they start playing
- Settings toggle to auto play the videos
- Settings toggle to auto play culling pinned video (enabling this can cause 2 videos playing at same time)
- Show (movie emoji) in culling when comparing a video
2) Pinned Images:
- Reorder pinned images in Pinned tab added.
- "Pin All" button added to Home.
- Save / Load Pinned List" button added to Home to save / load pinned list to / from a file.
3) Other Additions:
- "Random Sort" button added to Home.
- "Advance Viewing Tab Image On Pin" toggle added in settings. Useful for culling in Viewing tab.
- "Culling Unpinned Images Keep Zoom Between Images" toggle added in settings.
- Show (magnifying glass emoji) when Culling images are zoomed in.
- Open current image button added to Viewing & Pinned tabs. Current images are last viewed full size or changed to in other tabs.
- Enabled swipe down to exit Search screen.
- icon button touch areas size increased (buttons still look the same size).
- A little more memory efficient with images.
