Ratings and Reviews
Still unimpressive formatting, app slow
It’s been three years, and the app still only supports bold, italic, and underline formatting. As a CS instructor I need to use the web interface to do monospace text and paragraphs, which is quite common.
In addition, when selecting a question there’s an annoying two-to-ten second delay before anything but the first half-line of each post or response is displayed.
The text entry box gets confused if you switch out of the app and back to copy some text, or if the keyboard is temporarily dismissed, such that the cursor location is under the on-screen keyboard.
Not very helpful for instructors
I’m a professor- I find myself having to open Piazza in my browser instead of this app in order to get all the functionality that I’d like.
I suppose if all you wanted was to read posts on Piazza, this app would be ok. But even basic things like finding unread posts is much easier on the browser of my iPad than this app
Something is now broken about login on iOS
I tried clicking App Support to file a big report, but that only takes me to the piazza website, which is not the purpose of that button, so I’m forced to file a bug report as a bad review. :(
About 1/3 of the time when I answer a student question or add a follow up comment on iOS, when I click the check mark to submit the answer or follow up, the iOS app now kicks me back to login and forces me to enter my password again, completely erasing the answer text I entered in the process. This is a NEW problem and makes the app incredibly unreliable. Please fix it.
