PingPoint Driver is the companion app for truck drivers whose loads are dispatched through the PingPoint platform. It is built for one job: keeping your dispatcher and broker informed about where their load is while you drive it.
Open the link your dispatcher sends you and the app signs you in — there are no accounts or passwords to manage. Your assigned load appears with its pickup and delivery stops, addresses, rate, commodity, weight and equipment type.
This app shares your truck's live location with the dispatcher and broker of your active load, including while the app is closed or your screen is off. Location sharing is explained on a consent screen before it starts, and it begins only after you agree. Tracking runs only while you have an active load, stops automatically after delivery, and can be paused at any time with a single button. A permanent notification is shown whenever tracking is active.
The app records your arrivals and departures at pickup and delivery stops automatically. If your truck is equipped with a supported Bluetooth engine-data adapter, PingPoint Driver also reads engine telemetry such as road speed, odometer, engine hours and fault codes.
Truck-aware navigation, mileage summaries for fuel-tax reporting, and a full history of your completed loads round out the toolset.
PingPoint Driver is intended for professional drivers working under a carrier or dispatcher who uses PingPoint.
