Okay! I have no real business reviewing this app as I am a brand new student to music (I played trumpet years ago but have forgotten everything, so I had to start over from scratch).
I gave the app 3 stars because it definitely analyzes pitch (and seems to do so very well), but there is no way to review a session, current or past, so I'm struggling with understanding how to make this a helpful app. I need to be able to look at the whole picture (combining acoustic guitar and my singing) in order to figure out where I need to do some work. It is impossible for me to pay attention to playing, singing, and watching the analyzer all at the same time.
I love this app! I always come back to it! I use it for testing my range - and my friends’ ranges - seeing how low and how high I can go - and for producing music. If I have a note in my head, I sing it, find the name of the note (cuz I don’t have perfect pitch but I can come up with melodies) and then play it on the virtual piano or synth! Thanks for creating this
There are no instructions
You open the app, there's a picture of a piano, the keys are all lighting up, back-and-forth very quickly there's no sound. When you talk the pitch detector goes up and down but there are no instructions on how to use this app. Am I supposed to play the radio and sing along with it? I don't understand. right now I feel like I wasted 2 dollars
