Pixellated Portraits. Lo-Fi Landscapes. Arcade Art.
pixelcam turns your camera into a retro video game lens.
Tweak the image by choosing a pixel shape (triangular, square, or hexagonal), picking a pixel size, choosing from 3 different color schemes, and flattening the number of colors.
You can also pinch to change the pixel size directly, or double-tap to jump between color modes.
Now with trixels and hexels! Square pixels can get boring after a while, so why not try out triangles? Or hexagons?

It does what it says it does, and it's fun to play with. I can create low pixel pictures, change the number of pixels, and use a few effects.
I wish there was a way to increase and reduce the contrast, to create "flatter images". Maybe that will be a feature in a future version.
All in all I am enjoying playing with this app. No problems with stability either.
I'm excited, but...if I may...?
I've only just downloaded this but am so excited to try it out! I'm particularly excited about the video option- but if I may suggest? It would be 6 stars ;-) if you could upload the videos to Vine!!! Is that possible? Please, please try?
This app is very cool and is awesome to use in short videos, profile pics, or just anything in general. It would be a plus if you guys could add a feature that lets you pixelize already taken images, but it's lookin good so far!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
