일상 생활에서 사용하는 다양한 디지털 기기를 통해서 실시간으로 얻어지는 다양한 형태의 데이터를 뜻하는 것으로 가속도계 데이터, 통화/문자 수/발신 로그, 수면 양상, 심박수 등을 포함하며, 각 개인의 행동/심리 상태를 평가할 수 있는 유용한 지표로 사용될 수 있다.
