PJ’s Coffee 4+

Yes, you can order ahead. But it is not very user friendly. If you order strictly off the app (no customization or in-store choices), you’re good to go. But, if you’d like to purchase items that are available in the store, chances are it may not be on the app. It is difficult to customize your drink. (Simple customization is available, ex. Add whip cream). The app, once an account is set up & your logged in, does not save your preferences. Basically, you will need to begin again. This particular department of the company appears to be lacking but once they hire the right people & invest money into the program, this option will be great.

Great potential and I still use it daily, but it now takes 13 steps instead of 3 or 4 to order the same drink I order every day. It’s like the developers have never actually used their own app to place an order. There’s also no choice of milk. The addition of a space for special requests is an improvement,though, so I put my choice of milk there.

I love using this app to order coffee on my lunch break from work! There's a PJ's down the street from my job and ordering ahead on the app makes it easy to pay in advance, then pick up my order in the drive-thru in time before my lunch break ends. The coffee's great and I love the seasonal flavors that change often.

However: the latest app update/revamp has made me rethink ordering from PJ's altogether. The new update requires a $5 minimum, which defeats the purpose of me choosing PJ's over Starbucks.

This is my main reason for not leaving a 5 star review.

At this rate, I am spending more for a latte to try and meet the minimum than I am wanting to in the first place. If you read anything in this review: please please PLEASE remove the $5 app minimum for purchases! This would be a great help.
