Excellent!!

I’m currently learning a new language and I thought digital flash cards would be a great way to study! I got a different flash cards app before this one that randomly deleted the cards in my dock and gave me ads every 10 seconds. So I deleted that one and luckily found this one! This app is a lifesaver! It also shuffles the deck which is super helpful for my learning my style! This app hasn’t given me any ads so far and also doesn’t collect any data… whoever made this app, you’re amazing and I wish there were more people in the world like you. Great app for studying, especially if you’re learning a new language like myself! :)

Almost perfect if don’t need to keep in order or serch

Completely Free No ads I just wish it had an option to order the cards alphabetically, and by when they were created, etc. But since there is no option for that, if they get shuffled, it makes it hard to find a specific flashcard because there is no search option. That’s the second big issue. So, as I was making the flashcards, i pasted the information for each card in my notes app to keep the information of each flashcard in the order i wanted. And when i was editing a flashcard on the flashcards app, i would also edit it on my notes app. It was good to keep a copy of the information anyway. But using the flashcards to study was very good. Swipe a card down if you know it, swipe it to the left if you need to keep it.. Until you eventually run out of cards. Then you can choose to reset and start over. You can also shuffle the deck Swipe a card up to edit it. Double tap to create a new card I tried so hard not to use Quizlet , but i think i will have to go back to it. It just wastes too much time learning different tricks with basic flashcards apps. And dealing with the missing features.

spaced repetition seemed cool…

was really happy to find a simple flashcard app i don’t have to purchase or shows me ads. i was excited to learn about the spaced repetition feature, but it just.. doesn’t work. All my decks say “not started” at the bottom, which is a bit annoying because i have studied them all and im using for language learning so would like reminders to study old decks. would just turn it off but it seems like much of this app is built around this dysfunctional feature and there isn’t a way to turn off the “not started” label on each deck or the header that says the same. Disappointing as the UI is very nice and flashcards are great. I do wish there was a way to combine decks or at least select multiple cards at a time rather than having to move cards one by one from one deck to another.
