PlantModo Garden Journal helps you keep track of the plants in your garden by assigning a QR-code to each one. You can add as many details as you wish, add photos and make notes about the growing process.

Keeping a journal is the best way measure and repeat successful processes while avoiding failures. Over time you can create a list of successful and unsuccessful processes so you can improve your gardening.

The app has a minimalistic design and it allows you to add as many notes as you wish and yet you will always be able to scan the QR-code attached to the plant in order to obtain its full history.

Didn’t work at all

I downloaded the app and created an account. Then I tried to add a plant, but there was no way to do it! It just showed an empty category without any buttons other than the back button and a logo in the upper right corner that didn’t do anything.

Do not use.

This is very strange. This app does nothing that it advertises. And as far as I can evaluate does not seem to work. Once downloaded, it is unable to do anything but present a red-scan bar code to read your plant. I tried several things but still got nothing. It takes you to a strange hybrid app development screen when trying to enter your garden plants. Most definitely DO NOT recommend.
