Great for many different life scenarios

I really enjoy that there are different soundscapes with my plantwave, I can have enchanted forrest while i’m working and heart chakra as i’m falling asleep. It’s great for putting me in the moment and also conditioning my brain to get into a good zone for working and sleeping.
I keep it hooked to my umbrella plant basically 24/7 and I feel like I understand my plant more as I learn the different patterns of sound that the plant makes. Some plants like my umbrella plant and peace lily are very talkative while other plants like my key lime and sago palm generally stay more quiet. Some plants, specifically my many succulents and my coral cactus are always making different levels of sound and it’s quite unpredictable. it’s very interesting giving my plants an opportunity to say something!
I also like the fact that I can broadcast my plants, I’ve told many friends and my family to download the app so they can listen to my plants. Sometimes i’ll start a broadcast and see people listening, It’s great that my plants can bring many people some relaxation :) the broadcast feature alone makes this app a good download even if you don’t own a plantwave.
overall i’ve fallen in love with this device and it’s a part of my daily life ever since I got my hands on it!

I’m Addicted to my plant wave!!

Wow! What an amazing device!
I first heard about this device in my sound healing school.
My teacher showed us videos of trees in Costa Rica that ended up Over time syncing together to create a symphony of tones and it blew my mind!
I knew then I must have one.
I have always talked to trees, ever since I was little and I always felt the energy of plants had so much to teach us if we would Listen .
Now, to be able to listen, is just phenomenal.
From my houseplants, to the trees and flowers in my yard, to the banyans and tropical plants I discover while traveling, I can’t choose a favorite as they all have such diversity!
I love how small it is! It’s incredibly easy to travel with and I’m just starting to dive Into the world of plant music creation!
So much to be excited about with this company, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll most likely want more than one!

Hmm. Plays your fingers too

Am definitely for anything that connects us to nature and the reps are quite nice. They do communicate well & am sure are overwhelmed

but sadly this is poorly made- i had big hopes

the clamps are too harsh for any plant & play the same recorded melody whether you press on them with your fingers or plant. (Used it on 7 consecutively in same woodland - all the same amount of rainwater?)

There is a Really tiny challenging pairing button very difficult to hold down, too but we can overlook that.

Once i finally paired it,
I found solely finger pressure played sounds so its not about your plants at all
& the clamp snapped off.
Hadn’t even used it for 5 minutes and broken

This is a novel business that is clearly very concerned with their investment return (understandable, but not in first year)
They profess conscious practices & seem like conscious great people, but it is a cheaply sourced final product.

I was a bit Annoyed with upgrade sound loop option for more money request on app, too.

The business asked me to file a report with shipper
and to wait on a claim
since it hadnt arrived by March when it was ordered last September.

I really want to love this product, being an herbalist.

Hi there. Thanks for your feedback. Our team is fully committed to ensuring you have the best experience possible with PlantWave.

We hear your concerns about the clips. Unfortunately, we did get a bad batch from our manufacturer and are replacing all clips of devices we shipped earlier this year. You will hear from us on this soon.

In terms of use of clips, they are recommended only for smaller lighter plants for short term use. They will not harm plants if used properly. For longer listening sessions, we recommend using the electrode pads. Please see the instruction manual for more details.

On the music, it's important to note there are no pre-recorded melodies or loops in the PlantWave app. Notes are generated by translating the wave we get from the plant into pitch. Users can then select different collections of instruments (Soundsets) that a plant can play. So, every note and melody is an expression of changes happening in your plant in real time.

A note about touching the sensors. PlantWave is designed to be used with plants. It works by measuring changes in conductivity between two points in a plant. This conductivity is measured by electrical connection between the two sensors. You can also trigger the system through human touch. The difference is, when you have PlantWave on a plant, the sensors are connected to a fixed point and not moving. This allows us to measure micro fluctuations in electricity through the plant. When you touch the sensors with your hands, they are measuring changes in connection via your varied grip. With that, it's less a measure of your biorhythms, and more of a measure of changes in contact with your skin.

We are exploring adding a "touch mode" which will allow for a different algorithm to be activated to tune the sensors for use on the human body.
