Played8 is a scheduling app for parents seeking playdates for their kids through their existing social connections. Played8 works like a neighborly knock on your door, checking in to see if your little one is available for a play date. We at Played8 would love to bring back the nostalgia of jumping over a fence or that knock on your door to meet a friend and then staying at the park till the sun sets, keeping screens at bay.
Profiles
Parents start by creating a profile for their family. Parents can choose their kids’ availability for play dates through the profile page. This serves as the starting point for sending and receiving invitations for playdates.
Building Community book to import contacts and
Once a Parent creates a profile, they can import contacts from their phone, send friend requests and build their Played8 community. Parents can watch their community of friends’ kids and kids’ friends grow as they connect often. They can now keep the connections strong by Organizing Play Dates and participate in impromptu interactions through the Broadcast My Fun function.
Easy Communication
The world is made of two types of people: The ones who Plan Ahead rely on Organizing a Play Date function on Played8, and other group relies on Played8’s Broadcast My Fun to make impromptu plans.
Organizing a Play Date
Organizing a Play Date for your little ones is simple: a few clicks and you are all set. Played8 allows Parents to send an invitation to their friends with a simple description, time and place. It skips the work of creating a group chat, breaking the ice and the back and forth of matching schedules. Played8 distills essential information regarding the Play Date for the Parents, such as: Theme, Time, Location, Acceptances, Declines and Other friends around and available. Parents can Sync all this information with their personal calendar and get notified to make room for other things life throws at us.
Broadcast My Fun
Broadcast My Fun lets you connect with your Community over common interests, hobbies, local events, to maximize fun and nurture your connections. Broadcast your message to a handful or cast a broader net in your Community and Maximize your Fun.
