Clients are getting a lot of error messages when trying to create an account , retrieve an account , and their current services aren’t showing up and some products haven’t seem to show up for them to purchase but that are in stock at the salon. An older person may find this app very fussy to use. It is taking a long time to set up and access to use. I’ve had a few successes but it should be faster , simpler , and the esthetic is kind of bland.

Our team is working tirelessly to address every issue that arises so that this app can prove very beneficial to your team during this period of social distancing and curbside pickup. Without being able to dig into it, I would make sure your clients are in the correct location in the app. They can go to the More tab and select their desired location to view products and appointments there. Also, an administrator determines which products show online for purchase, so that may be another thing to check. I hope this helps. Please reach out to our Support team if you need to!

Great, simple checkout process

This app makes the check out process so simple and quick. Guests check out paying for services and product purchases while they are still in the chair. It’s quick and they do it from their phone. I love how they can see their history of previous product purchases and their service history. This app also shows any upcoming appointments.

A few of my guests have been testing this app for us, and we’ve noticed now that the app does not retain the client’s payment information, so they’re having to enter it every time they want to check out. Also, they can send messages to us but we can’t respond to them from the SalonBiz app. Please add these features so that we can get the most out of the app!

We are working very hard to update it as fast as possible to meet the demands coming in as more users use it to safely visit their salons. As far as saving payment info, be sure your clients are toggling the "Save Card for Future Use" switch to "on" when entering their payment info. We do plan to allow for you to reply to your Pocket Salon messages from your stylist app. Stay tuned for that in the coming updates.

It would be nice to be able to cancel an appointment. We had log in issues in the beginning- we needed to first sign up on the salon’s website for it to work, and had to wait a couple days. Maybe they can write the days the stylists work, so I’m not clicking everyday. It’s a good idea for an app but there are a lot of things that need to be ironed out.
