Pollinator Patch helps you plan a front yard that
supports pollinators and stays HOA-friendly.
Enter your ZIP code to see native plants for your
region. Texas is fully supported across all 8
ecoregions, and California is now live with 154 native
plants, 50 native bees, and 50 butterflies specific to
the state. More regions are on the way.
Every plant profile includes:
- Toxicity information for dogs and cats, sourced from
the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center plant database
- Bloom timing, sun and water needs, and mature size
- Which native bees and butterflies use it as a host or
nectar source
- Nursery availability so you know where to actually
buy it
Plan a yard that works for your space:
- Filter by sun exposure, water needs, and pet safety
- Save plants to a wishlist and organize them by zone
- Print a clean PDF plan to share with your HOA,
contractor, or partner
Ask Patch, the in-app guide:
- Get answers about specific plants, pollinators, and
HOA-friendly design
- Beginner-focused starter questions help new users
get oriented
- A "How it works" sheet explains what the tool does
and connects you to local expert organizations:
NPSOT in Texas, CNPS in California
Rebate Finder:
- Search municipal turf-replacement and native
landscaping rebate programs across the US
- Join the waitlist for programs that have not opened
in your area yet
Pro (optional subscription):
- Unlimited Ask Patch questions
- Watering and freeze alerts tuned to your local
weather
- Saved garden zones and exportable plans
Built for HOA-conscious homeowners who want a calm,

California is now fully supported. Enter a California
ZIP to browse 154 native plants, 50 native bees, and
50 butterflies specific to your state, with nursery
availability sourced from Annie's Annuals and regional
nurseries. Texas users get the same depth across all
8 ecoregions, plus toxicity information for dogs and
cats from the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center.
Ask Patch also has a new "How it works" button that
explains what the tool does and connects you to local
expert organizations: NPSOT chapters in Texas, CNPS
chapters in California. If your ZIP is outside a
supported state, a small banner lets you know what
to expect.
New users now get a starter question after setting up
their first garden zone, so there is a clear place
to begin.
