Pollsition pulls data from Congress.gov to provide you the latest updates on upcoming legislation.
Pollsition uses your personal data (Title, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, Birthday, Address) to confirm your identity, your voting district, and your legislators (US House of Representatives and Senate) so that they will know that you are a real constituent.
When you register, you will be able to be anonymously counted in the aggregated publicly available data of Pollsition users to help US legislators understand the political preferences and views of their constituents.
After you register, you will be able to receive updates on upcoming legislation based on your interests, and indicate to your legislators how you want them to vote. You will have the option to send your voting guidance to your legislators. Congress requires that petitions from constituents, whether through Pollsition or individual legislators' webpages, include personal information so that legislators will know that the data reflects the opinion of their legitimate constituency.
After you vote, you will have the opportunity to share your activity on Pollsition with others in your social media networks so that others can be inspired to join you in using Pollsition to strengthen America's democracy.
