Polyphono

Fretboard and ear training app

Free

Polyphono is a brand new app for guitar players, bringing together music theory, fretboard charts, the microphone and your ears. Learn the moveable arpeggio patterns by playing the note in green and using the fretboard charts. Polyphono will use the microphone to test if you're playing the right note! If you make no mistakes, you’ll be challenged again - but this time from memory - did your fingers learn the pattern? The challenges are provided at a relaxed pace. You'll practice 3 moveable patterns at a time to build your skills and build your knowledge of the fretboard over time. Known issues and work-arounds: - Sometimes the open string (not fretted) is needed, but this is missing from the chart. - If your guitar isn’t being picked up, try moving closer to the microphone and eliminating background noise. - There’s too much repetition - bear with us, we’re working on the design still! We are in early release and keen to hear your feedback. Please reach out to us at polyphono@tp1.org
