Pondere
A journal that asks questions

Pondere is a journal that asks questions.
Write about your day and Pondere replies with one open-ended question. It doesn't advise, diagnose, or tell you what to do. It asks - so you keep thinking. Sometimes the useful thing isn't an answer, it's a better question.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
The AI runs entirely on your device. No accounts, no analytics, no servers holding your entries. Nothing you write is ever uploaded - your journal leaves your phone only if you choose to export it.
After a one-time model download on first launch (about 400 MB, Wi-Fi recommended), Pondere works completely offline. Airplane mode, no signal, anywhere.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Password and biometric lock
- Entries encrypted on your device
- Hidden from the app-switcher preview
- No ads, no tracking, no account required
- Optional auto-delete on a schedule
SUMMARIES WORTH COMING BACK TO
When you finish a conversation, Pondere writes a short summary from what you shared - the topics you raised and the details you mentioned. Search across every chat and summary to find the thing you wrote about months ago.
WHAT PONDERE IS NOT
Pondere is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice, and it is not a crisis service. It is a journal with a curious listener built in. If you are going through something serious, please reach out to someone who can be there with you - a person you trust, or a crisis line where you live.
