Previously a slow first sync could leave PractAlert stuck on the loading screen; now you land on the radar even before the data has arrived. • Faster startups after the first launch — the match list refreshes are much smaller, so opening the app uses less mobile data and finishes sooner. • Smarter retry when a sync is interrupted, instead of restarting it from scratch.

v2.0 — rebuilt from the ground up. If you used PractAlert v1, the new app shares the name but almost nothing else under the hood. Big things that are new: • CMP Service Rifle, Garand, Springfield, M1 Carbine, Match Pistol, Vintage Sniper, and the rest of the high-power calendar — all alongside the rest of the practical-shooting world. • Map tab with clustered match pins. • Follow a club → push notification when they post a new match. No web account required. • Alerts tab — a 30-day log of every reminder and push the app sent you, in case a notification got swiped away. • Sign in with Apple or Google to sync your watchlist + club follows across devices. Signed-out users keep a local watchlist. • Faster everywhere — match data lives in a local replica, so search is instant and the list works offline after first launch. • Detail view links to the live registration page, the match program PDF (for CMP), and the official results page once a match is closed. • EIC-points eligibility badge surfaced for NTI matches.
