PracticePro was developed by a professional violinist and conductor, precisely for these challenges. Smart Practice Calendar – Never Lose Track Again All your pieces at a glance: Add repertoire (composer, work, estimated practice hours, concert date). The app shows a colour-coded list: Green: more than 2 weeks left, Yellow: less than 2 weeks, Red: less than 1 week, Purple: less than 3 days. Sub-goals – e.g. a lesson or audition. Wikipedia link – tap a work to open the composer’s article. Automatic Practice Plan – Tailored to You The app reads your system calendar (with your permission) and detects free slots. Based on your estimated hours, difficulty and deadlines, PracticePro creates a 30-day practice plan. You set daily max and preferred hours. The plan prioritises urgent pieces, but suggests several works per day. You can manually adjust any suggestion (change times, enable/disable warm-up, modify duration). After confirmation, sessions are written to your system calendar (separate “PracticePro” calendar) – delete or hide anytime. Export the plan as PDF – perfect for printing or sharing. Practice Sessions – Stay Focused and Have Fun Timer from 5 minutes to 6 hours. During a session: timer continues on Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Incoming call automatically pauses. “My child needs me” – special button for parents (configurable). This pause counts as valuable family time, not an interruption. Commitment screen before each session: “Put your phone away. Stay focused.” Reward: applause and congratulations when you finish. Quotes from famous musicians motivate you – switch on/off in Settings. Statistics & Practice Journal – Prove Your Progress Overview: how much you practised today, this week, and in total. Practice journal: automatically logs each session – you can edit entries manually to add notes. Export your practice data as text or PDF – ideal for teachers. Built-in Tools – Everything You Need While Practising Metronome: loud clap sound, haptic feedback, screen flash, tap tempo. Tuner: analogue needle, exact frequency (two decimals), cents deviation, adjustable reference (415–450 Hz). Recorder: WAV or compressed M4A. Use external or built-in mic. Trim, split (up to 4 parts), enhance sound (bass, mids, treble, gain, reverb). Import and export audio files – share recordings or bring in external takes. Seamless Sync & Backup iCloud sync keeps your repertoire, plans and journal up to date on all your devices. Automatic iCloud backup plus manual backup – your data is always safe.
