Predictable is a multi-award winning text-to-speech app for people with conditions such as ALS/MND, autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and more. It aims to make it easier and quicker to communicate, using a range of access methods, rate enhancement features and customisation options. Word Prediction Using smart word prediction technology, the app makes speaking out a text-based message easy. Predictable learns from your pattern of use and predicts what you will type next, making typing easier and more efficient. Phases and categories Save and organise phrases that you need quick access to in a simple grid format. Further customise your phrases by adding symbols, images, audio recordings, links and more. Shortcuts Choose from a wide range of useful and exciting features such as notes, share, translate, chatGPT and draw to customise your keyboard screen to include features that you want to use. Attach these to keyboard keys, hot corners, head tracking gestures or external keyboard shortcuts. The possibilities are endless! Multi Language Switch between any of our 43 languages* to create your personalised bilingual set up. You are able to choose a primary and secondary language and seamlessly transition between both on the go, with appropriate keyboards and voices selected for both. Languages supported include: Arabic, Bangla, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Maithili, Malay, Marathi, Norwegian (Bokmal), Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Gujarati, Urdu, Somali *Some languages only offered with online voices Speech and Voice Options Compatible with standard iOS voices, including the enhanced voices available to download and your iOS personal voice. Accessibility Predictable offers a wide range of access methods and accessibility settings including: Direct touch features to handle accidental selection Screen tap - a scanning method where you touch the screen for selection and/or progression Switch access - accessible via Bluetooth switch box + switches (compatible with Therapy Box Switch Box and RJ Cooper Switch Interface) as well as Head tracking face gestures. Head tracking - use facial recognition to interact with the app with no calibration or extra hardware required. Auditory preview - hear the onscreen text before selection. Scanning - Build your own, is a brand new access method in Predictable. Customise your own scanning method by combining timer, screen tap, switch access and gestures. Appearance Customise the layout and appearance to truly optimise the app to your preferences by changing the layout, font size, colours and more. Different keyboard options (including QWERTY, Ten Key, Apple and Bluetooth) and different templates (including Dark, High Contrast and Low vision) are available to make this customisation clear and simple. I found this app to be a great solution for individuals who communicate primarily through typing. The interface is intuitive and offers some nice customizable options. It allows for preprogrammed messages for efficiency when necessary. The developers have been supportive and very responsive to questions.

DOESN’T ALLOW USERS IN - PLEASE FIX PASSWORD ISSUE

Predictable is a fantastic app, and has become a really essential tool. Somehow, the current version doesn’t allow users in. No luck asking for a link to reset your password either. The app, as well as the website will tell you it has successfully sent an email, but nothing arrives.Why why why? Such an easy fix. Your paid users have to use the app in “Guest Mode.” Honestly, it’s almost cruel to have an app that’s so good that users have come to depend on it, and then somehow let a glitch lock them out. There are other reviews here that also seem to be struggling with password issues.Please fix this.

I can no longer walk, talk, use my hands or even breathe on my own. This tool is my one and only tool to communicate with the world. You can even download your voice banking software.
