So far I like this app. The only issue is that when I go to set a temporary hold, the app freezes whenever I change the hold until time. Also when I launch the app I feel like it takes too long to open. I understand it Hass to check the system status, but when you first open it it takes a long time just to get to the thermostat. Also every time you open the app you have to click on the snowflake icon then change the temperature, even though the system is on cool the app defaults to the heat tab being selected.

We’ve only had it a week, and given the previous reviews, I was worried that our a/c company picked a bad thermostat- but I am happy to say they did not! It works flawlessly! My husband uses this app to turn the a/c down from his phone every weekday morning. It’s easy to set a schedule and just as easy to change the temperature temporarily and then put it back on schedule again! It’s great! I do want to give a heads up though. I have found when setting up the schedule, once you hit Save, even when you go in to change the setting again and hit Save again, it doesn’t save the new setting. It’s a simple fix - you tell the app to reset to the default settings, then put in the schedule you want. So, my word of advice is to figure out what schedule you want FOR SURE and then put it in. But, if like us, you realize you need it warmer or cooler, and you find the app won’t save the info, you now know how to easily fix it. I highly recommend this thermostat!!!

I enjoyed my remote wireless connection to this thermostat until I moved my router and modem to a lower floor which broke the connection. After repeated attempts to reconnect, I reluctantly accepted the disappointing explanation the tech gave me that the router was simply too far away, though only about 6 additional feet.
So recently I replaced the router to its former location. Thinking the solution was soon at hand, I was left again today with non-connection after multiple tries. Every other device has reconnected without hesitation. Regrettably, I have spent far too much money, time, frustration, and inconvenience on this product. I would never recommend to anyone who needs or wants wireless access to their thermostat.
