- Decks saved on Windows now open correctly. - Phase envelopes are more robust near the critical point: some mixtures could previously show a false critical point. - Quality lines now trace across a much wider range of gases and oils (10–98% vapour fraction), as one continuous curve to the critical point. - The built-in user manual is updated to 1.4.1.

Heat exchanger rating: TEMA arrangements - Enter the exchanger's TEMA type (e.g. AES, BEM, AEU, AFL). E and F shells are rated; the heads are recorded and checked — U-tube bundles need an even number of tube passes, and a floating head with odd passes is flagged. - Identical shells in series: area, UA and pressure drops scale with the number of shells, with the LMTD correction factor for that many shell passes. - F shells (two-pass shell with longitudinal baffle), with pure counter-current flow and F = 1 when there are two tube passes. The longitudinal baffle is treated as sealed, and the result says so. - Results now show the arrangement, the area of all shells, and the shell-side pressure drop in total and per shell pass. Rating runs in the background - Recalculate no longer holds up the app: a spinner and elapsed time show the rating is working, and you can carry on with other tabs meanwhile. Block diagram export - Save PDF now produces a sharp vector PDF with real, searchable text. - New Save SVG: an editable diagram for vector-graphics editors, with every block and every stream as its own named group. Other improvements - Rating CSV exports keep every label and value in their own columns in spreadsheets. - User manual updated for all of the above.

Heat exchangers • The Bell-Delaware rating now lives in the Calculations tab. The deck models the process with LMTD (DUTY= or UA=), so models run faster. • Rating forms persist while you edit and re-run a model. Feed conditions follow the model unless you've changed them. • New: Load geometry from CSV. Reopen a saved rating into any exchanger. • Shell pressure drop is now split into crossflow, windows and end zones. Checked against Aspen EDR. Physical properties • New liquid density method (THERMO LIQDENSITY=): Spencer–Danner for hydrocarbons, tabulated data for water-rich liquids. Liquid water is no longer about 15% light. • Better liquid thermal conductivity for condensates containing dissolved gas. • Corrected molecular weight for Twu pseudo-components (aromatic and heavy cuts read high before). • Missing binary interaction parameters: hydrocarbon pairs are now estimated, other pairs set to zero, and both are reported after each run. Pipes and flash • Detailed pipe heat transfer is more robust and accurate, and was checked against Aspen HYSYS. • Single-phase streams no longer report as unconverged, and spurious near-empty liquid phases are eliminated. Documentation • User manual updated to 1.3.0, with method notes and validation results.

New Calculations tab — run orifice plate sizing, rating, and flow calculations (ISO 5167-2 / Reader-Harris-Gallagher) live against any valve in your model, with meter-rangeability charting and CSV export. PIPE blocks can now exchange heat with their surroundings — a simple fixed duty, or a full wall/insulation/ambient (air, buried soil, or submerged water) resistance-network model. New in-app Component Database reference, always in sync with the bundled component and interaction-parameter files. Various refinements and bug fixes.
