Write to CollegeBoard and kindly insist that they change their current arrangement and eliminate their partnership with Proctortrack. I’ve taken 14 CLEP exams through this system, and very few, if any, have gone smoothly. Last time it took 80 minutes until I was finally prepared to take the test, due to the slow nature, painstaking protocol, and broken system that Proctortrack employs. Enough is enough, especially after specifically scheduling and studying for a test that is seemingly impossible to take in a relaxed manner.

Why does Clep have this as an option. This is the worst system I have ever used. I understand that things need to be checked thoroughly, but this doesn’t work at all. Home offices don’t work, public libraries (near me) don’t, Mac’s don’t, laptops don’t work. Not a single person to answer the phone. The site crashed after 30 minutes of working through the proctor checks. Ended up starting nearly an hour and a half late. Ruined my test.

I don’t know who made this but they need to fix whatever is wrong with themselves. Me and my friend have been trying to take a test for the past THREE MONTHS and it still barely works. The instructions are confusing and annoying and very vague. Literally made us rage and it’s so much easier to go to a testing center instead of attempting to use this app. 👎

Go into settings and adjust your text size to the smallest option possible if the app is freezing on you. I was on with support for an hour before the third representative pointed me in that direction. They clearly know this is an issue, but aren’t getting the word out or changing anything about the app. Added unneeded stress on a testing day.
