ProgramHQ is where a basketball program lives between practices. It was built by a varsity head coach who was running his own program out of a legal pad, a group text and four spreadsheets that only he understood. Every part of it exists because something went wrong first. PRACTICE PLANS Build a plan from your own drill library, and it does the clock for you: put a drill on at 3:30 and everything after it moves. Print it and your assistant is holding the same sheet you are. Put blank courts on the back and stop carrying the legal pad. SCOUTING REPORTS Personnel, tendencies, what they run out of a timeout, and the two things you want your team to remember. Share a report with your players and they read it on their phones instead of hearing it once on a bus. PLAYBOOK Draw a play, animate it frame by frame, and your players can watch it move. Terminology and defensive schemes live next to it, so a sophomore who forgot what you call something can look it up without asking. LIVE STATS Track a game from the bench, or hand a phone to a parent and let them keep a station. Shooting, rebounding, turnovers, plus minus by lineup, and a halftime view that tells you what is actually happening rather than what it feels like. THE OFFSEASON Set what you want counted, from shots made to mile times, and let the team log it. A leaderboard the players check themselves does more than a reminder from you. THE TEAM A calendar players answer, so you know who is coming to Saturday's camp before Saturday. Notifications for the things that cannot wait, sent to the whole team, to players only, to your staff, or to three seniors. A roster you control and can fix when somebody signs up as "marcus". WHAT IT IS NOT There is no advertising in ProgramHQ, nothing is sold to anybody, and there is no feed. Coaches only content is coaches only, and the database enforces that rather than the screen. A program can be handed to another coach on your staff if you leave, and you can close your account from inside the app at any time.
