Long time listener and my most used phone app bar none. LOVE PV and the amazing value and content they offer the progressives in the world but the app itself needs major updates to play nice and work well within Apples new iOS. PLEASE update soon. I will even pay for this app if it means getting a better one. Otherwise you rock!! Content is FIVE stars app is Only 2-3 stars at this point due to all its issues. Hence my 3 star rating for now.

Now, more than ever, we need media to tell the truth while the country is systematically dismantled. Sadly, though progressive radio is nothing more than a storehouse of commercials after commercials after commercials. they will do as many as a dozen commercials in a row before you actually hear maybe two or three minutes of actual Content, and then the commercials continue. I sadly believe this once progressive Station has literally been taken over by the enemy. There are many ways to hear the truth especially of heroes like Stephanie Miller and Randi Rhodes. This is not one of them. Stay away from this fraud.

As the successor to Air America, Progressive Voices is the best place to get left-leaning views on American politics. The app works well as to stream shows live or (fewer shows) on demand. Since it isn't really a radio station, the shows are independently produced and contracted by PV for streaming. This is the reason for one of my two gripes about the service: Production quality varies wildly from program to program. Audio normalization is needed. My only other minor complaint is the interstitial programming. It can be repetitive.

I love it the more than the tune in app. Tune in has useless commercials for stuff I don’t have a good paying job or skills to pay for it. This app doesn’t have the advertising garbage every time you open it. The Tom Hartman show does have commercials but that’s for his show not the app is doing it.
