Lots of room for improvement

It feels very empty. It’s hard to orient yourself. Combat seems interesting conceptually but it’s hard to tell where attacks are going to land. Attacks need shadows to show 3d to 2d translation. Movement feels very floaty. Button UI looks like it was made in PowerPoint 2005 by a middle schooler. Music and audio is passable. Writing is passable. UI design works well. Main character doesn’t contrast against the background enough. Obstacles have shadows but the main character does not. World design is visually interesting. I struggled to find the first button thingy after finding it the first time, and it took about a minute for me to find the enemies after triggering them. Died (I think, it said something about another chance) to first harder enemy (that splits in two) and called it quits there as I didn’t want to figure out how to find the enemies again.
