Your notes, lists, diary, medicines, trips and places in one private iPhone app, with an assistant that runs on your phone. No account. Free to download Walnut is a private, local-first home for the things that make up your life. Bring notes, tasks, shopping, diary, goals, countdowns, trips and packing, medicines, trackers, places, calendar, weather and health context together in one thoughtfully designed iPhone app. Then Ask Walnut to find what matters, show relevant information or take an action, without sending your personal life to a cloud AI. EVERYDAY LIFE, IN ONE PLACE • Capture notes and diary entries. • Manage to-dos and shopping lists, and share lists with people you choose. • Plan trips and pack with reusable lists. • Set goals, milestones and countdowns. • Build simple trackers for routines that matter to you. • Keep a medicine cabinet, optional reminders and a private dose log. • Keep a private history of the places you've been, with optional Precise history. • Log how your body and mind feel with Body & Mind. • See calendar events, local weather and read-only Apple Health summaries when you choose to grant access. • Let Walnut remember useful, source-backed facts that you can inspect, correct or permanently forget. ASK, ON YOUR IPHONE Ask can work directly with Walnut's tools: add an item, find a note, check a countdown, show a list or recall something you previously recorded. On Apple Intelligence-capable devices, Apple's on-device language model also adds open-ended writing and reasoning. On other supported iPhones, exact actions, module lookups, guides and trusted memory recall remain available. Walnut never silently reroutes your question to a cloud AI. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No Walnut account. • No advertising. • No analytics or tracking SDKs in the app. • Your personal data is stored on your device. • Shared lists are encrypted on your device before being relayed through iCloud. • Encrypted backups are protected by a password only you know. • Location and Health access are under your control, and Health access is read-only. FREE AND PRO Walnut is free to download, and Ask is free on every plan. Walnut Pro unlocks Location history, Memory, Goals, Trips & Packing and Body & Mind, and is available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase. You can always export and delete your data, whatever your plan. Requires iOS 26.0 or later. Open-ended generative features require an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Walnut is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. What's new in 1.0.1 • Added support for iPhone Duo. • New: Precise history. Turn it on in Settings → Location for a more detailed record of where you've been. It's off unless you choose it. • Location keeps updating while your phone is locked. • Visits are more accurate: places in the same town stay separate, and one visit is no longer split in two. • Clearer messages when restoring a backup. • Walnut now lets you know on Today if a medicine reminder couldn't be set. • Shared lists sync more reliably. • Privacy and reliability improvements throughout.
