As someone who has trauma with dentists and gets anxiety by going into the dentist office, my entire experience from the get go of starting my teeth journey through Candid has been life changing. I’ve done Invisalign before and wasn’t able to stick to it long enough to get results and I’m so proud of myself to see how far I’ve come thanks to the outstanding customer support and in depth and very easy to digest information Candid gives me throughout my treatment. Being able to see a slideshow of before and after pictures that you take yourself through your scans that you upload on the app is game changing! The whole process is so seamless and you are walked through it the entire way with step by step videos while you scan your teeth yourself with your phone. It’s so encouraging and feels like a much more personalized experience! Candid really thought of everything and I’m not one to write reviews like this but I’m just so happy with my results so far and the ease of use. Thank you, Candid!

This app is incredible and super easy to use. You don’t need to be tech savvy to do this. I literally just did my progress scan in my visor mirror while parked in my car between work appointments. I did ortho before and it was so hard to stay motivated but in the app I can see even the tiniest improvements which makes me want to keep going. I am low key going after the badges when I scan on time and get passed to the next aligner. It is a fun game vs just wearing trays on my teeth. Not gonna lie that I love not having to go to the dentist once a month for check ups because she can see everything without the visits because of the app. No disrespect to my amazing dentist 🤍

Do yourself a favor and get a real orthodontist. Candid is scam and remote orthodontia should be more regulated to ensure these companies are actually held responsible for the garbage treatment they’re providing. You can never get in touch with an actual orthodontist directly. Everything is channeled through customer service reps who can do little more than funnel messages back and forth and act as a buffer for your requests. I thought the worst that could happen was that you’d have to wait longer for service, but wow was I wrong.My original treatment plan for minor cosmetic issues was 6 to 8 months. Almost two years later, I am now 3 sets of aligners in. My teeth are so much worse than when I started, my bite is horribly misaligned, and one of the aligners managed to pull my rear molars forward so they are sunken down and no longer level with the rest of my teeth. They’re answer to how to deal with this? “Cut the back tooth off your aligners with scissors.”I understand that this is an imperfect science and refinements are a normal part of the process. But the degree of error to which I’ve been dealing with is appalling. And because no one seems to actually be checking your progress, it’s up to you to flag issues. And even then, they drag the process out so it takes weeks to get an answer. Shame on me for thinking that this could be a viable options during the Covid pandemic. Don’t do this.

I am still in my treatment, so I don’t have results as of yet, but I highly recommend giving Candid a try. It’s much easier to have another person with you for the molds and all of the scans to send through the app. After the first day of wearing my aligner, it began to mold around my teeth and I had no trouble talking, and everyone said they couldn’t even see them! You must take good care of them and keep them in all day unless you’re eating. The financing option made this even easier even though the price is way lower than the company my dentist recommended! The lower price does not mean lower quality of service.
