Description

It's natural to feel afraid during and after a shocking, scary, or life-threatening event. Most people who experience traumatic events may have difficulty adjusting at first but eventually get back to their normal routines. If you continue to feel distressed long after the traumatic event has occurred, you may have PTSD.

This app is designed to evaluate your symptoms of PTSD with a scientifically-supported 20-question screening test. It uses the PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), a screening questionnaire for PTSD that is often used in healthcare and research settings. The PCL-5 is also helpful for monitoring your PTSD-related symptoms during and after treatment.

PTSD Test contains four tools:
- Start Test: take the PCL-5 to assess your PTSD symptoms
- History: see a history of your test scores to monitor your symptoms over time
- Information: learn about PTSD and discover additional resources that can help you on your path to recovery
- Reminder: set up notifications to re-take the test at your convenience

Disclaimer: The PCL-5 is NOT a diagnostic test. A diagnosis can only be provided by a qualified healthcare professional. Please consult a physician or mental health professional if you are concerned about PTSD.

Rev Jude ,

This is extremely accurate

I was recently diagnosed with PTSD back in January of this year after being out of military for 20 years so I want to see if this test was accurate well it is so I highly recommended it if anyone wants to check out to see if they have PTSD or not, and I’m also a combat veteran I highly recommend you take the test for yourself and I also recommend you see your VA counselor. For anyone who is not combat but who has PTSD I recommend this as well because anyone who’s going through a stressful trauma doesn’t know why they’re reacting this way and this will help you get a better of it so you’re not going crazy cause I thought I was

My review.

I started using this App right away.
I’ve been using this App for several years now. I finally got to show my Therapist. She said with everything I’ve been telling her & I allowed her to look at my scores at the end from each test. She says I have P.T.S.D.

There are other things within the App to read. Always seek Professional Medical Advice. Good Luck & Be Well.

Good way to clock your episodes

Started using this as a way to understand how frequently I have an episode and what conditions trigger it. It is basic but very useful for that reason. Highly recommend using this app if you’re wanting to participate in your own recovery.
