Well this was an unexpected gem. I downloaded PulseRipper to try on some synth sounds, but ended up trying it out on everything. There's something about how it processes the sound that just works. Like everything gets more depth and personality without sounding processed or like a standard tremolo effect can feel kind of added on. It’s super smooth and musical. One of those rare plugins where you drop it on a track and it instantly just sounds better, even before messing with the settings. Great job! I can tell this is a new go-to.

Thank you for the kind words! The concept for this effect has been living in my head for about 20 years (originally wanted to make a physical pedal), so it’s been great to make it and have it out in the world for people like you to use!
More flexible than you think

I admit I mainly got this one for its awesome rhythmic modulation, but I've used its more subtle effects even more (especially on guitar)
I like it. But it repeatedly fails and returns a signal error after a few minutes of use.

If it didn’t do, that would be fine. Not sure how to contact the developer directly.

Update: this issue has been resolved with the 1.0.6 update release. Hey there, something happened with the recent OS update that caused PulseRipper some signal error problems (along with a couple other minor issues that are less obvious) when combined with other plugins. My most sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused! If you’d like to contact me directly you can send an email to seacadalabs@gmail.comI’d be happy to help you out in any way that I can!
This does nothing

I spent $10 on this and it appears to do absolutely nothing

Hello, there are some great videos on YouTube showing off the features of PulseRipper. I can assure you the hybrid Modulation and Distortion effects that PulseRipper produces can be extremely strong or subtle, however you choose to use it. If you would like technical assistance to help you get started I would be more than happy to help you out. Just reach out to seacadalabs@gmail.comJust a reminder that PulseRipper is not an instrument itself, rather it is an effect you use on instruments/voice/recorded tracks inside of your favorite DAW like GarageBand, Logic, Cubasis, etc, that utilizes AUv3 plugins.
Critical Update:
This update fixes a couple of really annoying and functionally compromising issues after the most recent system update. I completely rewrote a deeper signal detection system for stability and resolved another issue that was causing an undesirable static sounding artifact. Those were all fixed and now PulseRipper is better than ever. In fact, you can really push things into wild territory by stacking and ramping up multiple PulseRipper instances on a single track.
Since I was primarily working on the LFO system, I decided to make the Tempo Sync time signature options more robust. This is really great for musicians working in lots of different genres, but it will cause a small issue with current presets:
All of your current presets will convert properly through the update, however, if you have any presets that are using Tempo Sync, then you will need to change the time signature to your preference and then write over your old preset by saving the preset with the exact same name as your original. There is no need to delete the old preset. All user presets that don't use Tempo Sync will be the same as they were in previous versions. This won't be an issue going forward and only affects a small % of user presets. All other knob values that you saved will be correct since this only affects the Tempo Sync's time signatures.
Thanks for your support, and enjoy pushing PulseRipper harder than ever before! I stand by my plugins and will always prioritize critical updates like this over everything else.
