PYP Garage 4+

It’s a great idea, and whenever the app is working properly, it’s one of the best tools to have especially if you don’t want to spend hours looking for the car you need at the yard! But half of the time, the app had problems that doesn’t allow you to navigate it properly. I haven’t been able to add new cars to my search for a while now because every time I hit save it says an error has occurred. Also, the pictures taken could be a bit clearer, and show a better view of the vehicle. That’s not really too big of a problem for me, as I’ll probably go look at the car I save regardless of the fact. But it is something to keep in mind.

Overall, if they can get the bugs fixed, this will be a great app to have for everyone who frequents LKQ yards.

Never get notifications and then the first time I got one I rushed to the Location excited to finally be able to pick parts off a 69 Dodge when I got there I couldn’t find the car anywhere. Asked one of the guys if he had seen the car and he says, “Yeah I just crushed it this morning”. The SAME DAY I got the notification. I was there by 10 am. My heart dropped. The rear glass on that alone is super rare and worth a lot of money. What a waste.

I’ve had this app for over a year and this is the first notification I’ve ever gotten. I have about 10 cars saved in my “garage” all with at least a ten year model spans. I often go to the Wilmington location, I always find cars and vans that I have saved but never have gotten a notification that they were in.

Really wish this thing worked.... a two door 69 Dodge Dart with the original 225 slant six crushed.... it’s heartbreaking.

As a frequent visitor to LKQ yards I was excited to have an app since the mobile site can be difficult to navigate however this app does not find any LKQ yards anywhere in the continental United States. I even zoomed in on the map until the only thing showing was an LKQ location and the app still said “no results were found.”

It does a good job of letting you manage your garage and view your loyalty points but without being able to check yard inventories the app is a dud in my opinion.

Hoping a future update fixes this.
