644 examples with explanations: Python and SQL. 354 of them free, and code runs right in the app with the output shown underneath.
A reference of everyday Python, from strings and collections to threading and design patterns. Every example is written out in full and explained.
• 22 sections: simple types, arrays and collections, classes, files, serialization, functions and lambdas, exceptions, regular expressions, threading, databases, algorithms, patterns.
• Run in the app: the example really executes and the output appears under the code. Needs an internet connection.
• What changed in new versions: eight sections from Python 3.0 to 3.13, with "before" and "after" code side by side.
• Keyword and function reference: 203 articles, fully open with no daily counter.
• SQL alongside: 243 queries against a live practice database - JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries, data types.
• Edit any example and run it again; one tap brings the original back.
• Add your own examples - they are kept in the app and always at hand.
• Search by section name or by a fragment of code.
• Everything except running works offline. No account needed.
WHAT THE FREE VERSION INCLUDES
12 runs and 12 edits a day - the counter resets every morning. The keyword reference is open without limits. Up to 5 examples of your own. Copying in the free app is blocked after five attempts.
The full version opens all 644 examples, removes the daily limits and raises running to 30 launches a day. One purchase, no subscription.
Made by a developer for developers. In development since 2015.
I just started learning Python, and this app has proven to be absolutely invaluable. The only thing I would suggest is to possibly use dropdowns or accordion style links for the subsections in the sidebar instead of multiple slides. Thank you!
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback! The idea is good. I'll try to implement it.
Handy practice when offline

Would love to see more updates. Also perhaps offer extra features for another one-time charge :)
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback! Once you purchase the full version, there will be no further additional purchases. The full version activates all functions.
Great app!

Incredible app! If someone already knew about programming paradigms and wanted to learn python, this would be my first recommendation I would give. The dev was quick to help me out with fixing a sync problem across my devices too. Highly recommend!
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback 🖐On the purchases tab there is a "Restore In-App Purchases" button that should restore the purchases you have made to other devices.
Chock full of Information

Not only does this app go through the basic as and advanced parts of JavaScript, but it has DESIGN PATTERNS. I have never, evert seen an app go into design patterns, with diagrams. Bravo my friend.
Developer Response
Thank you very much for your feedback 🤝 About 10 years ago, I was very impressed with the book on design patterns. Therefore, it was interesting to implement them in every programming language.
• Run code right in the app - Python executes and the output is shown under the example.
• A "What changed in new versions" section: what arrived from Python 3.0 to 3.13.
• The keyword and function reference is now a section of its own, with search.
• Your own examples: add your code and keep it in the app.
