QLPlay adds support for more video formats to Quick Look, like mkv, webm, flv, wmv and others. Not all video files are supported, notably avi and mp4 with vp09 codec. However, you can rename almost any video file to have an '.mkv' extension and it will work with QLPlay. Run the app once to register the system extensions. Restart may be required for file thumbnails to update.
