QR Code Reader is a scan QRcode application, it is both barcode scanner, QR code scanner, QR code generator. QR & Barcode Scanner / QR code reader is extremely easy to use; simply point to QR or barcode you want to scan and app will automatically detect and scan it. No need to press any buttons, take photos or adjust zoom. QRcode Reader is a beautiful application, optimized for encrypting and decrypting information (create QR code and scan code). HOW THE APP WORKS To scan a QR code simply open the app, point the camera at the code, and you’re done! There is no need to take a photo or press a button. Scans fast, but can't copy results. For non-URLs data this is not very helpful. For website names missing usual www or HTTP its useless.

It does everything it’s supposed to but it displays a small ad when it shows you the scan results. The developer used to have a paid version, which is no longer in the App Store but I still have a copy of. I just don’t know how much longer it will be supported in future iOS versions. I wish the developer still had it and maintained it cause it works the same as this app minus the ads.

Just loaded it in both iPad and iPhone, easier to use with the iPhone but works well in both machines. I'd give it 5 stars but I need to try it out on more than pantry canned stuff. Very fast scan and report...looks good right now.
