I know I said almost, but this game still deserves 5 stars. The Game has many great songs and is well designed, not to mention the cute characters. Even with all of this, I still have a few problems. These problems aren’t major but they still bother me. The first Problem is That there Is no the miracle album or innuendo available which may not bother Most but it just feels odd that they’re left out. Then there’s the fact that sometimes when a character does their special the screen will freeze for a brief moment while the game continues. Lastly I think the song selection for some of the later tracks aren’t the greatest and Flash Gordon should have gotten it’s on Album instead of being bundled with Hot Space. On the other hand some things that I think could be added to make the game better consists of more songs per album, a co-op mode, a versus mode, and having David Bowie sing when playing under pressure. Do I think these will be added? Probably not, if they intended for these to be added then it would probably be in the game already but The game is still amazing so if you‘re a queen fan then this game is a must buy.

Before you stop to think “Oh a mobile rhythm game? That’s not gonna be very good.” Yes, yes it is. This game is AMAZING. As someone who has gotten 3 discs (stars) on every song (easy, medium, hard), this game never gets old. You can collect iconic outfits and learn interesting facts about Queen (I knew em already but maybe you’ll find something new). Plus, Freddie, Brian, Deaky and Roger have never looked cuter! I love the character design, it almost reminds me of Animal Crossing. Anyway, this is an absolute must for any Queen fan, new or old. A 5 star game through and through. The only in-app purchase is an extra outfit for Freddie (I did purchase it), so it’s not pay to play at all. I hope all players love this game as much as I do. Oh and it’s got I’m in Love With my Car as one of the songs (which is a total bonus!)

I really liked the old school rhythm games of old starting with DDR, Beatmania and Guitar Freaks imports in the late 90s. This is an excellent rhythm game featuring my favorite band of all time. The double purple swipes are incredible at changing the lanes. I love this mechanic, especially when I’m focused on the music and not expecting it. I also love bending the holds, although this doesn’t seem to track accurately all the time (I swear I’m not missing). What I don’t like is the peppering of the purple swipes intermittently and to no affect or justification by the music. They take me out of the rhythm and frustrate more often than not. I’d also love to see the lanes scale to the width of the phone better. I have big fingers and it’s difficult to strike exactly where the game wants me to (I know, git gud). It seems I have more real estate left untapped on my iPhone XR.This was an easy, no-brained purchase after the first trial track and I see myself picking this up in those semi-frequent times where I find myself needing a quick dose of Queen. I’ll take another one. Peter Gabriel please! Look to his Secret World Tour set list for the essentials and build from there. 😉

I know Roger HATED totp but I think it would be nice to have a section for this so we could have more song options like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.Another thing I think should be added is the live aid, so like a special version of the tours so it’s like the actual live aid (ex. Borhap and radio Gaga being together as one song)One last thing I think should be added are songs from innuendo and the miracle! I know that when these albums came they already had their last tour but these albums are amazing!I think that’s all but these things should really be added into the game!
