Ratings and Reviews
Good “flash card” app
Great for mathematic review and practice. Gamification with time helps motivate kids to participate. Handwriting of numbers is great educational strategy.
2 things to make this app a SOLID 5+++:
1.) parent/teacher account that gives reports of children’s progress. It should be easy to show me where
my kids are struggling, so that I can focus my instruction time with them in their weaker areas. Report should show total history, last month, last week statistics. Maybe my kid is struggling with products 6x6 and above. App should record their answers so I know.
2.) based upon data gathered above - app should weight problems being shown to my kid. The ones they’re always Getting right need less time/practice, the ones they’re continuously getting wrong or taking longer than their average time to answer - they need more repetition/practice.
If those two features were to be implemented in future update, I would be telling all my friends about this app for their kids.
Great app!
It helps me and my family practice math. The multiplication questions only go up to 16 as the highest level, but it definitely works my mind at least (I had only learned the table up to 10). They have addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and mixed. They have 4 levels, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Extreme.
I have improved in doing math in my head quickly because of this app’s flash card system. They also have avatars you win when you answer 400 questions on each level, and the avatars come with different music and it’s fun.
The only thing I would improve is the recognition of the handwriting, sometimes I will write a 5 perfectly fine and it won’t recognize it all, but that’s about it. It’s not that much of a pet-peeve for me and I’ve learned to work around it.
Remarkable and outstanding app.
Quick Math is an ideal app for improving mental math skills. It consists of answering 20 questions on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as quickly as possible, with a mixed mode for an extra challenge.
Its interface is simple and easy to use, allowing users to focus on speed and accuracy. However, it does not provide explanations for mistakes.
- I started using this app when I was 7 years old, and it helped me a lot to improve my math skills -
Overall, it is a useful tool for practicing mental calculations and improving speed in basic operations. I would recommend it.
