Random Slideshow 12+

I use this app on my iPad to see the many pictures I've taken, sort of a review of the many places I've been. Now it is available on my Mac Studio and I will use it often. This functionality should have been added to Photos a long time ago.

The Mac version can't see smart albums like the IMac version can. This would be a welcome fix.

A suggestion, I can find no app that properly displays panoramas. When this app or any detects a panorama it should fit the smaller dimension to the display and then smoothly scroll Ken Burns style across the long dimension.

When iOS 8 was released, Apple, for some reason, decided to remove the ability to shuffle photos during slideshow, and the feature has not returned since. This app gives you the shuffled slideshows back, and it does it beautifully! I love the extra customization we can get with the slideshows, such image backgrounds, a list of duration per slide (which are far better than the scrubber the stock photos app provides), the option to have the photos fill the screen. This app is wonderful!

The only thing I can suggest for this app, is the option to choose more than one album for the slideshow. And being able to select individual photos like you're able to in the Photos app. A workround would be to create a new album and do it that way.

Other than that, excellent app!

A great app that does exactly what the name says. You can once again shuffle your photos in a slideshow randomly. I don't know why Apple thought it was a good idea to be able to play a slideshow without being able to play your photos in a random order in Photos. But they did. This app corrects that crucial omission.

Also the developer of Random Slideshow is very responsive. I had a small issue with the app not being able to select the photo albums that I synced with my Mac, only albums I created on my iPhone. But after asking about it, it was fixed within a week in the next update. I could not be more satisfied with Random Slideshow! Thank you!
