Needs Serious Work

Since the desktop version has been discontinued, the app needs to be seriously revised to at least have the functionality of the desktop version. Two things, especially stick out as deficiencies in the app: first of all, when you close the app, the settings revert back to the defaults so every time you open the app you have to reset the settings to your personal specifications. Secondly, the trend lines especially the 10 day moving average are close to invisible.

I agree with some others have said. It does tend to drop out or glitches and always seems like it’s on days where critical economic news comes out where we really need the real time updates to the coupons. I have one major complaint and that is I am only offered to see coupons 3-6 under the parameters and the app in general always lags behind the industry in which coupon it defaults to tracking. For example, right now the industry is tracking the 2.5 coupon for umbs, but RateWatch continues to default to the 2.0 coupon. I wish it would fall in line with either MBS tracking systems that are available to mortgage professionals.

Looks like a free app and I was hoping to get daily rate quotes to help me decide when to lock in my new mortgage but the only screens i can get to are a login screen and a terms screen 3 times longer than my mortgage papers! So I went to the website to see how to get a login id and it says that signing up is $90 a month!So much for a free app! The app description says nothing about a subscription fee so even though I never actually got in to see it’s features I had to rate it one star for being deceptive and expensive.
