Great way to practice French each day

The short stories are just the right size for a busy person. You get to practice and learn French but don’t have to dedicate more than 15 min per story. I usually read the story out loud. Then I play the recording and try to follow along out loud. The feature to identify vocabulary words is very useful. I love this app. Makes me feel accomplished each morning!

Great but for one annoyance

I just started using this app to supplement my French weekly French lessons and I’m finding it extremely helpful. The stories are interesting, but not too deep, and each level is represented accurately. And the design is super clean. My only gripe is the annoying Bell chime that goes off every time you get a correct answer. I don’t see any reason to disable that and there’s not even a way to lower its volume. Please provide an option to disable that chime or at least give us the ability to lower or mute it. Much appreciated.

I would rate 5 stars if not for the high subscription cost. It’s a thorough learning course. You get 6 free articles that will read you the script, break down the individual words and review how the grammar works. This would be my favorite learning tool, but again, I’m not willing to pitch out seventy bucks every year for full access.Also the developer asked me to change this review for higher rating. I choose to leave an honest reflection of my experience which highlights both the positive and negative aspects that formed my opinion.

Seems good but free version limited

This is well made but the free version is very limited. Even Duolingo allows you to learn without paying. $70 a year for this app just to read short news articles doesn’t make sense. I can simply look up French articles online and practice the same way. The free version should have at least 1 new free story a day for your learning level. I am A1 and just want to play with reading something I know I can have a chance to understand. I’m not paying $70 a year to read a paragraph each day.
