Reboot: Quit Fap No Porn 12+

Loving it so far!

Best app on the app store for helping me quit my porn addiction. I like the daily check-ins and the buddy accountability system in particular, really helps motivate me. The focus of the app is also very different. Instead of streaks, which can be counterproductive, the emphasis is on the total number of days that I am "clean". Having used other apps that focus on streaks, I realised how streaks cause me to beat myself up when I broke them. And then cue the usual relapsing for couple days in a row. But not this one. 5 stars for this invention!

Glitched subscription

I loved the app when I could use it, but after I bought a subscription I can’t really enjoy it. Once I realized it would stop me from watching yt or using social medias without wifi, I just couldn’t use it anymore. I bought a one month subscription in February and I canceled it before the month ended, but it was still in effect. Now, in August, over 6 months since I bought the subscription, I can barely use my phone. Apple can’t help me since the company is a 3rd party so all I can do is contact the company. Also, my account has disappeared and I can’t login to it and I’ve tried every email I have to get into it. I need to be able to fully use my phone without wifi again. I’m still giving 4 stars because the app did help for a little bit and it’s the best reboot app I’ve encountered, but I could still use everything with wifi so it was kinda pointless. It’s now November 2023 and my subscription glitch still hasn’t been fixed and I haven’t received any message back. I need social media because I’m trying to post stuff that’s outside of my house. I want to be in the film business and this glitch is messing with my goals. Apple can’t help me.

Nice app so far

The UI is very seamless and it has a lot of neat features. It’s definitely worth the low price compared to Brainbuddy. You get almost the same value except it’s still early. Wishing they had a quick access widget and also wishing they had more structure and daily interactive activities. But comparatively they have as much structure as Brainbuddy if not a little bit more. Anyway, here’s to hoping they will constantly improve since they are still in their early stages unlike Brainbuddy which has kinda remained stagnant.

Look, if you’re reading this review: you’ve tried everything else on the market and you’re still not sober so why not spend 11 bucks for this and see what happens. Worth a try.
