These listings are made available for browsing by residents, who can visit their local recycling centers to acquire items that may be repurposed or reused in creative ways.

We believe that one person’s waste can be another person’s treasure, and by connecting local recycling centers with residents, we aim to create a seamless and effective way for communities to reduce waste and promote sustainability. This platform not only helps keep reusable items out of landfills but also empowers residents to contribute to a more sustainable future."

After a designated period of time, items listed on ReCirc that have not been claimed will be marked as “expired” and donated to local charities. This ensures that even items that don’t find a new home through the platform can still be put to good use, supporting local organizations and those in need.
