The Missing Ingredient in Productivity Apps!

I've literally been looking for this app for years and have tried everything. I run a small digital marketing agency (and a very active personal life )requiring a myriad of ongoing and recurring tasks. I have become quite efficient and processed, and have tried many apps and systems. However, the one all seem to lack is the handling of recurring tasks. This app simply, yet elegantly helps me stay on top of these recurring tasks, without overwelming my already jammed calendar app. Although Apple Reminders integrates perfectly with Fantasitcal (my Calendar app), and aslo accomodates recurring tasks, it lacks the ability to track progress on those recurring items. Meaning, the same recurring tasks only keep rolling to the next day... creating an avalanch in no time. Not to mention, those tasks don't indicate performance over time as Recurrance does. Recurrance solves this problem brilliantly. I have a few minor feature requests that I've put in and got a response immediatley. I'm hopefull this will be an essential tool in the belt for years to come. Great app!!!

Best repeating todo ever

I have a ton of mundane daily/weekly repeating todo’s that totally clog up my reminders on my calendar. Every todo I tried would immediately fill in tomorrow as soon as I completed one, so the list always appeared to have more yet to be done, or, more irritating didn’t bother to list what was today and what was tomorrow. This doesn’t do that. Everything about this is well thought out and carefully designed by the developer. I love having the color coded categories in the app, although I wish they carried over to the widget, just to add some color to the Home Screen widget. This is one todo app I am glad I bought. The free version is great because it doesn’t hide some features and you can actually see before you buy what this app does. You won’t regret it.

Every todo I tried would immediately fill in tomorrow as soon as I completed one, so the list always appeared to have more yet to be done, or, more irritating didn’t bother to list what was today and what was tomorrow. This doesn’t do that. Everything about this is well thought out and carefully designed by the developer. I love having the color coded categories in the app, although I wish they carried over to the widget, just to add some color to the Home Screen widget. This is one todo app I am glad I bought. The free version is great because it doesn’t hide some features and you can actually see before you buy what this app does. You won’t regret it.

I am really enjoying this app so far. I like that you can make it so you only see what is due today and minimize the 7 day look and forever look. (But you can also check those 2 other views whenever you want). One thing that might be nice, and maybe there is a way to do this already, but it would be nice to be able to put in one-off things as well so that I can have everything in one place. So for example, if I only need to prepare for a specific lecture once, then I can still put that as a task in Recurrence. Other than that, I really love this app and the paid version is worth it.

I use Recurrence for daily and other scheduled items that must be checked off every day. I use it to remember if I've taken my daily meds, or if this the week my garbage goes to the curb or just the recycling. It's strength in in tracking regularly repeating events.I still use Apple Reminders for either reusable lists (like packing lists), or for one-off to-do items. I had tried using Reminders for everything, but that just resulted in me ignoring the badge alerts and not getting things done. I really appreciate the custom/edit completion date functionality in case I forgot to check off an item the day before (or accidentally checked one off).
