Replace-It is a simple, private way to track when things expire.
Stop throwing out unopened medicine, finding moldy sauces, or wondering when you bought that lotion. Snap a photo of an expiry date or type one in, and Replace-It will remind you before it matters.

What it does:
• Scan expiry dates with your camera. On-device text recognition reads the date and suggests it for you.
• Add items manually if you prefer, or if there is no printed date.
• Get a notification before something expires.
• See what is expiring this week, this month, later, and what has already expired, grouped at a glance.
• Search by name or notes.
• Filter by category: Food, Medicine, Household, Cosmetics, or Other.
• Swipe to mark used, share, or delete.
• Select multiple items at once for bulk actions.
• Pick from 10 accent colors to make the app feel like yours.
Privacy first:
• Photos stay on your device.
• Your items sync across your iPhone and iPad through your private iCloud, visible only to you.
• Replace-It has no backend. There is no server. Nothing leaves your device.

How to use Replace-It
1. Add an item
Tap the + button at the bottom. Take a photo, choose one from your library, or type the details by hand.
2. Confirm the date
If you used a photo, Replace-It reads the expiry date and suggests it. Tap to confirm, or pick a different one. You can edit the name, category, and notes too.
3. Save
Your item drops into the right bucket: This week, This month, Later, or Expired.
4. Get reminded
A local notification fires before each item expires. Set the lead time and time of day in Settings.
5. Mark, share, or remove
Swipe a row to mark used, share, or delete. Tap Select to bulk-act on multiple items at once.
6. Find anything
Use the search bar at the top, or tap a category chip to narrow the list.
No account. No signup. No password. The app works from the moment you install it.
