I’ve had this app for many months, and have sold and bought countless fragrances. Here are some things to know; first of all, there is a 15 dollar delivery and authentication fee for everything you buy, so it’s very difficult to sell/buy cheaper perfumes. Secondly, there is a 20% fee after you sell a fragrance, so there’s a weird thing where buyers offer very low because they know they have to add on the $15 no matter what, and sellers unwilling to lower their prices because they know that 20% of it will be taken. That’s the biggest “issue” of the app right now, as well as some minor bugs that are constantly being fixed. However, the Rescented team is extremely good at communicating, and they are super helpful. They’ve answered so many of my questions and helped me to become a star seller of the app. I’m seeing complaints of buyers offering the lowest they can, and that will not change, but I promise there are serious buyers… you may just have to be patient (I’ve sold 20+ already and bought 17+). I’ve gotten deals that are so good, I still can’t believe it. This is a great idea for an app, and obviously it’s not gonna be perfect, but be patient, and you will find some great deals and be able to sell your collection. Amazing app, and amazing customer service, 5/5.

Overall Rescented is a great app for buying and selling cologne, however there are a few improvements that I believe will make the app amazing. First off is being able to add descriptions to listings, second would be to expand titles of items that are being sold (when people list bundles or multiple fragrances the titles get cut off). I’d also like a feature where users can follow and message each other, adding a feature where you can add multiple items to cart from a single user for a discount would also be great. Lastly, listings usually get buried within a day, adding a promote feature would both benefit the app (extra revenue) as well as the user (who will make sales quicker). All in all it’s a great app and I will continue to use it 🙏.
