Description
RideLink allows you to do firmware update for Giant Power Pro and CycloSmart.
RideLink allows you to view your power data including pedal balance, force angle and calibration. RideLink also makes it easy to update your firmware.
Connect with Giant Power Pro
After pairing with your Giant Power Pro, you can view all this data in the RideLink app. The RideLink can connect with BLE-compatible heart rate straps to also show HR data for a complete overall view of your workout performance effort.
Connect with Giant Smart Trainer
After pair with Giant Smart Trainer, you can view immediately cycling data, adjust the resistance level and update firmware by the RideLink app. Also the RideLink app can connect with BLE compatible HR belt and cadence sensor to show heart rate and cadence data to see your overall workout performance.
Use RideLink to calibrate and update the firmware before your ride with Power Pro. This will ensure that all data output is accurate.
Workout data is saved in the RideLink app. You can also forward ride data via email to evaluate your ride performance and make future training adjustments.
Note: RideLink is compatible with all devices running iOS 9.0 or newer.

Absolutely Useless App
This is THE WORST App I have every used. First, there is an update available for the Power Pro (the power meter associated with this App). The update absolutely will not upload to the Power Pro module. The Bluetooth connection just drops when the the update firmware button is pressed.
Not related to the App, but the Power Pro device itself is THE WORST power meter I have ever used. It’s only recording power data from the right crank arm. There is NO WAY my L/R balance is 2%/98%. It was this wrong information that led to think - ah maybe there’s a firmware update. Sure enough there is, but.... IT WON’T DOWNLOAD because this App is so poorly written/conceived.
Will be contacting Apple to ask why the App Store can have Apps like this even posted. It just doesn’t work!
Terrible Power Meter and App
I notice that I am having the same problems as others have reviewed from 2 yrs ago. The power meter just basically has stopped holding charge, the left battery icon on the screen is showing a red battery as soon as charging is completed.
Cannot calibrate and will not update firmware.
Buy a different brand of bike. Giant will not support your problems with their bike and equipment.
Functional but could be easier to use
The start/end ride buttons should be on every page and labeled Start/End. I don’t even know how to pair a HR device to the app either, I only remember one is not paired whenever I start a ride.
Never had an issue pairing and calibrating my Power Pro MY19 power meter and RideSense speed/cadence sensors.
Just picked up a CycloSmart trainer so there might be a follow up review later.
